Professor Malcolm Todd was the first holder of the Chair of Archaeology at the University of Exeter (1970-96) and Professor of Archaeology at the University of Durham and Principal of Trevelyan College (1996-2001). He has also held Visiting Professorships at New York University and University of Houston.
He has been a Visiting Fellow of All Souls College and Brasenose College, Oxford. His research interests lie in the Roman world and the Migration Period. His publications include The South-West to AD 1000 (1987).
